TRIVIA:

1) Low Beams was written in Los Angeles at the Touche Amore practice space with different members of Self Defense Family than who actually recorded on it. Writing included Andrew Duggan, Alan Huck, and Chris Tenerowicz.

2) Lyrics were written in the studio just before recording. Patrick and Jeremy road the bolt bus from NYC to Philadelphia. They planned on writing lyrics on the bus ride down, but ended up gossiping the whole way instead. When arriving in the evening to Studio 4, Blacklisted were finishing a day working on their album "When People Grow, People Go" and Will hoped we'd hop in the vocal booth and get them done quick. The lyrics were done in about 30 minutes and finished everything in about two hours.

3) Circa 95 is a reference to the Unbroken 7" called Circa 77 that features the songs "Absentee Debate" and "Crushed On You". The lyrics for Circa 95 were written as a follow up with the idea that "why do you give a shit about my opinion". The connection to "Crushed On You" is the use of "doesn't matter".

4) The writing on the A and B label come from Patrick. Nick and Jeremy asked him to provide some sort of insight for the 7". Side A reads "Athletes, actors, dangers, musicians. People who can only ever visit the place they want to live. Frustrated people. Ofter obnoxious. And the world would is a toilet bowl without them". Side B was the heading of the email which read "Here's some shit. Grab from it how it suits you". Which was not one of his insights, but felt fitting nonetheless.

5) Follow up to point 4) Here are unused choices:

- Forgive me if this comes off indelicate; why haven't you done more?

- It just seems that good and bad is nebulous, but finishing something is definite.

- If inactivity doesn't nag at you, take it as a gift from nature. Some of us always have to be doing things. Which sounds somehow nobel, until you are up at 4am sending emails into a void and drawing goal timelines on your apartment wall.
